As I am coming from the fontsquirrel site, I could refer to the “Hottest Web Fonts” page, there, or the Webfont Generator.
WOF(2) fonts embed licensing information. That is a work-around which exists to resolve a dilemma.
If the dilemma does not exist, because a font-author just allows embedding of fonts in “Web-pages” (of all choices) and condones that people will get the font with the page, then there is no reason whatsoever to embed a license.
So. All OFL fonts are Web-fonts?
Maybe say so each time that the expression Web-Font shows up anywhere.
Or explain… I am open to knew knowledge and might even give up what I know already if you convince me.
