So, I’m rebuilding a bunch of Disney Channel promos for Halloween and now, I’m stuck with yet another font I can’t find. The WhatTheFont & FontSquirrel font finders don’t work great with VHS transferred images. I’m so sorry for pestering you. Here’s my latest request.
Thanks in advance!
Thank you! I’m guessing Disney probably had a modified version of Benguiat for their systems. I see numerous differences. For example, in their version, the centre bar of the N comes down to the base of the last column. The W in Winnie has a serif flagging leftward. The A doesn’t have top serif. So, that’s why I thought maybe there was another font or a cousin to Benguiat.
Nonetheless, I hope you understand how much we appreciate your continued help in this forum, Typehuile. You’re a great gift and I want to thank you so much for all the assistance you give.
UPDATE: So, after some more digging I found that the font is actually ITC Isbell Std Bold Italic! The gaps in the B and P were bugging me. The flagged serifs on the W as well. Also, the shape of the J was off. Here is a little comparison.
