How to choose a font?

I am the Marketing Manager at a company called Play: CLE and I am working on our brand book. I am looking to choose a font for the company. What is the best way in which to do this?

Hire a designer! He or she will be able to bring a familiarity both with a wide range of typefaces and with the associations of them. I looked at your company’s website. The sans serif face is Monserrat; the logo “play” is probably a custom design but it looks a lot like Diavlo (by Jos Buivenga at ExLibris Fonts). I’d start there,
