The font im looking for is BORDER if it was ever conceived in modern digital format.
That appears to be a bold version of Avon, from URW, but MyFonts list only one weight.
It also appears in the VGC Typositor catalog of 1972 as fonts F-31.

It seems alot of this old school typefaces never made it to the digital realm.
That Avalon font is about as good as s it gets.
