Low center bar on H and E, and the bar extends left outside of the letterform, but other x-heights are normal. Crossed W. This font is a mess and it’s ugly but I need to match it exactly for work. Any ideas?? Thank you!
You will not be able to run this through a font identifier program, unfortunately.
Where is this tombstone? FWIW, it has a passing resemblance to Optima, but obviously isn’t.
It’s in the middle of nowhere - Polar Cemetery in Polar, Wisconsin. It sort of has an Optima feel, but yeah, it’s got some bizarre flourishes.
