Hi again,
So, the font I’ve includes from CBS network promos from 1985 evades me. I’ve found similar fonts (like Go Home JNL, College Nouveau JNL, Steelfish, etc) but none match 100%.
The most telling parts of the font are:
The W middle stems cross to form an X in the middle.
The N crossbar does not touch the bottom of the final stem.
The top of S, E and possibly other letters are cut in a diagonal instead of ending flat.
I’ve researched fonts from the 60s/70s/80s, chyron fonts, tried various automated engines like the FONT IDENTIFIER on this site & WhatTheFont. No luck.
